Directions

Stillwater, Oklahoma is located a little over an hour’s drive west of Tulsa and an hour northeast of Oklahoma City. Bible Baptist Church is located on the east side of Stillwater at the intersection with Jardot Road and Virginia Avenue. We are one mile east of Wal-Mart on Virginia (Virginia is the street that borders Wal-Mart on the south side) and one-half mile north of the gas station on east Sixth Avenue at Jardot. The Payne County Expo Center is located at the northwest corner of Highyway 51 (Sixth Avenue) and Fairgrounds Road, on the east side of Stillwater. Except for the golf tournament, all activities related to the Men’s Advance (including Registration) will be located at the Expo Center. Below are general directions from major access roads to the Expo Center. For your reference, directions to the church are included, as well. For more detailed directions, you may find Mapquest directions to the church or Expo Center useful.

From I-35/OK-51 West (OKC, Wichita)

From I-35, take the Stillwater exit (Exit 174) and go east on Highway 51 (Sixth Avenue) toward Stillwater. Continue approximately 18 miles all the way through Stillwater until you reach the intersection with Jardot Road (There is a gas station on the south side of the street.)

To the Expo Center:

Continue east another 2 miles to Fairgrounds Road. The Expo Center will be on your left.

To the church:

Turn left on Jardot and go 0.5 miles to the intersection with Virginia Avenue. The church will be on the right side of the street.

From Cimarron Tpke/US-412 East (Tulsa)

From the Cimarron Turnpike traveling west, exit at the Stillwater Y and continue to the final toll booth. Immediately past the toll booth, exit onto Perkins Road and turn left (south). Stay on Perkins Road approximately 7 miles until you reach the intersection with Sixth Avenue/Highway 51. Turn left on Sixth and go 1 mile to the intersection with Jardot Road (There is a gas station on the south side of the street.)

To the Expo Center:

Continue east on Sixth Avenue another 2?iles to Fairgrounds Road. The Expo Center will be on your left.

To the church:

Turn left on Jardot and go 0.5 miles to the intersection with Virginia Avenue. The church will be on the right side of the street.

From OK-51 East (Tulsa)

From Highway 51 traveling west, the Expo Center will be on your right at the first full stoplight coming into town, at the intersection with Fairgrounds Road (13 miles past the flashing red light at the intersection with Highway 51 and Highway 18 [Cushing turnoff]).

To the church:

Continue west on Highway 51 and turn right at the second stoplight, which is the intersection with Jardot Road (Note that the first stoplight coming into town is now at Fairgrounds Road, two miles east of Jardot). Go 0.5 miles to the intersection with Virginia Avenue. The church will be on the right side of the street.

From US-177 North (Ponca City)

Traveling south on Highway 177, follow the truck route signs as you begin to enter Stillwater: after passing the Lakeside Memorial Golf Course, turn left onto Richmond Road (there is a gas station at the intersection), go 1 mile to the intersection with Perkins Road, then turn right. Stay on Perkins Road approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Sixth Avenue/Highway 51. Turn left on Sixth Avenue and go 1 mile to the intersection with Jardot Road (There is a gas station on the south side of the street.)

To the Expo Center:

Continue east on Highway 51 another 2 ?iles to Fairgrounds Road. The Expo Center will be on your left.

To the church:

Turn left on Jardot and go 0.5 miles to the intersection with Virginia Avenue. The church will be on the right side of the street.

From US-177 South (Perkins, Shawnee)

Traveling north on Highway 177, continue into town until you reach the intersection with Sixth Avenue/Highway 51 (there is a gas station at the corner, and you will see a feed mill to the left). Turn right on Sixth Avenue and go 1 mile to the intersection with Jardot Road (There is a gas station on the south side of the street.)

To the Expo Center:

Continue east on Highway 51 another 2 miles to Fairgrounds Road. The Expo Center will be on your left.

To the church:

Turn left on Jardot and go 0.5 miles to the intersection with Virginia Avenue. The church will be on the right side of the street.
